Meditation has played a big part in my life and continues to this day, when I am sad, when I am busy, when I am tired, when I am helping to heal other people meditation helps guide and steer me to be in the moment
which a beautiful place to be.
Treatments I have been blessed to do over the last 2 weeks have included all of my skill set, hypnotherapy helping people with a range of issues from drug use, weight loss,anxiety,stress management along with Reiki helping people achieve the right mental/emotional and spiritual well being to take away their physical symptoms. I have also been able to help people with shoulder/wrist/back/neck and thigh problems using my injury rehabilitation skills. All who visited me have left feeling better with an improved quality of life, that is such a rewarding thing to be able to do, I can genuinely say 'I LOVE MY WORK'
I have also been instrumental in getting people to change their shape by having some great and well attended boot camp sessions on an evening and some personal training sessions during the day. Life is great when you get the chance to help people achieve what they want to achieve.

Meditation is misunderstood and UNDER USED and yet is something if practiced on a regular basis can give you so much to improve your life. It is often perceived as a 'Hippy' thing or a 'mystical' thing that only strange people talk about and do!!
Meditation has played a big part in my life for a long time, I meditate every day and it has brought me calmness when I needed to be calm, clarity when I needed direction, peace when the world around me was at war, comfort, when I needed to know my path was right, sleep, when I needed to sleep to either recharge my batteries or sleep a restful night to begin another day revitalized and ready to go!
Meditation if done, can often be the only time in your day that you take some time just for you and there is nothing wrong with taking time out just for yourself, in fact if more people rested their minds more often, the world would be a better place.

Your body responds to the way you think, feel and act. This is often called the “mind/body connection.” When you are stressed, anxious or upset, your body tries to tell you that something isn't right. For example, high blood pressure or a stomach ulcer might develop after a particularly stressful event, such as the death of a loved one. The following can be physical signs that your emotional health is out of balance:
Change in appetite
Constipation or diarrhea
General aches and pains
High blood pressure
Insomnia (trouble sleeping)
Palpitations (the feeling that your heart is racing)
Shortness of breath
Weight gain or loss
Poor emotional health can weaken your body's immune system, making you more likely to get colds and other infections during emotionally difficult times. Also, when you are feeling stressed, anxious or upset, you may not take care of your health as well as you should. You may not feel like exercising, eating nutritious foods or taking medicine that your doctor prescribes. Abuse of alcohol, tobacco or other drugs may also be a sign of poor emotional health.
Now put your hand on your heart and ask yourself a question:
Do I suffer from any of the above?

Life is good when you have a varied job like I do, I have been lucky enough to deal with a wide variety of people lately all with different needs:
People have presented with knee and back and shoulder problems along with emotional needs and fitness goals coupled with weight targets and objectives;
All of this has meant I have been able to do injury rehab work, hypnotherapy and Reiki along with both personal training and boot camp fitness training sessions all in 1 week!! A varied and really interesting role in life, life is good!!
I have used the Hypnotherapy to help people with bereavement and addictive behavior, the Reiki to reduce stress and help with sleeping, the PT sessions were to help people with particular goals(1 weight loss and 1 attitude and focus to name but 2) and the boot camps are brim full of people getting fit and losing weight and achieving their own personal goals.

What an exciting and enjoyable time I've had this week, my treatments have been so varied and I feel so grateful for having such an interesting role in life!! Age is no barrier to what I offer as I have had people on receiving treatment as young as 16 and as old as 72 and everything in between, soft tissue relaxation work sending people off to sleep which is a skill combining Reiki and relaxation massage. I have been using Hypnotherapy to relax the mind to receive Reiki energy with quite outstanding results!! I have also been really grateful to have the chance to help people with addictive personalities come to terms with why they do what they do using Hypnotherapy which has been extremely rewarding.
Injury rehabilitation also has been a part of my work this week helping people to become pain free and move again feeling like human beings instead of robots!!
All in all a great week to be me as I have had a varied and interesting week helping a variety of lovely people.
